  • Yoshio Hama started practicing yoga in Caracas, Venezuela. From 1998 and 2008 he had the opportunity to study Vinyasa Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Rocket Yoga and Iyengar Yoga under the guidance of Mariangel Romero and many other great teachers.

In 2006 he got a Rocket yoga certification in Venezuela and in 2008 he came to New York with the intention of practicing and studying all styles of yoga. The first studio he visited was the Dharma Yoga New York Center, and the same day he took his first class with Sri Dharma Mittra. That day he found his Guru. He is a 200, 500, 800 & 1000 Hour Dharma Yoga Certified.

He has been teaching Yoga in many countries and working as a mentor for Teacher Trainings and yoga programs.

For him, to teach Yoga means to transmit the message of Yamas and Niyamas as the foundation of the practice. Companion, collective conscious and offering the practice to the supreme Self that is everywhere.

  • Jermaine is a Yoga teacher with a warm, friendly demeanor teaching awareness through posture sequences. His intention is to keep an open space available for students to recognize their movement, emotions, and identities through the quality of the breath. This genuine approach to liberate human beings from inner suffering uses Eastern and Western medicinal principles for healing.

  • Liza has been practicing and studying yoga for almost 10 years, and has been teaching classes for nearly 5. She began practicing as a way to ease anxiety, stress, and discomfort in the physical body, but over time she connected to it more deeply as a way to transcend limitations and discover mental and spiritual health and freedom. She is passionate about helping people connect to deeper levels of themselves, and ultimately to the true self, which is the life-long practice that is yoga.

Liza’s classes utilize pranayama, meditation, and mindfulness to amplify and compliment the asana, or physical practice. Her classes, like Liza, contain a lot of fire and strength, but they are also nourished by water, the more feminine, yin energy that we all need. Liza helps her students feel good in their bodies, by offering plenty of alignment cues and variations. She loves to constantly change and explore new ideas, both in the yoga practice, and in life.
